Western Kansas Careers Showcases

SHOWCASES

Over the past two years, we have brought together high school students, professional educators, and businesses to explore Southwest Kansas and rural careers.

Our first showcase paired students with professional educators to share our goal and mission.
Our career showcases focused on Agriculture, Education, Technical/Vocational, Healthcare, and Business Entrepreneurship.
Over 800 students and professional educators from 26 different school districts attended our rural showcases.
Over 30 businesses and professional organizations participated in our rural showcases.
Three local community colleges have also participated in the showcases.
We have partnered with the United School Administrators of Kansas in these rural showcases.
For the 2023-2024 school year, we will have a kick-off showcase on Wednesday, September 6, in Sublette, Kansas.
We have also planned the following showcases: Agriculture/Beef Industry, Education, Health Sciences, and Tech Ed/Vocational
