Western Kansas Careers Showcases

SHOWCASES

Over the past two years, we have brought together high school students, professional educators, and businesses to explore Southwest Kansas and rural careers.

Our first showcase paired students with professional educators to share our goal and mission.
Our career showcases focused on Agriculture, Education, Technical/Vocational, Healthcare, and Business Entrepreneurship.
Last year, over 1350 students and professional educators from 25+ school districts attended our rural showcases.
Over 60 businesses and professional organizations participated in our rural showcases.
Six colleges have also participated in the showcases.
We have partnered with the United School Administrators of Kansas in these rural showcases.
For the 2025-2026 school year, we will have a kick-off showcase on Thursday, September 11, in Sublette, Kansas.
