About us

Our goal/mission is to create a system of career interactions between students/parents/school districts/business and industry in Western Kansas to assist students to remain in our communities. We judge the ARPA dollars apply as a way to sustain and rebuild our workforce following COVID. The Showcase Program will act as a "grow your own" feeder program to our community college (previous ARPA recipient) as well as directly into the local workforce.



Our Implementation Strategy:

  • Create partnerships with area businesses, communities, and schools to understand local employment needs and to find ways to work together
  • Implement a student-led leadership team from local high schools to develop our Career Showcases
  • Inform and involve professional educators
  • Inform and involve parents in career exploration and development with their children
